"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit". - Arist

Excellence has a recipe, a system and a procedure. Sure, we can have acts of excellence, moments where we tower above our own expectations for ourselves. But, by Aristotle’s standards, we would not BE excellent, we would have simply produce a flash of it. To BE excellent, we must repeatedly produce “flashes” of excellence, which stop being “flashes” if we are doing them repeatedly. That is essentially all habits are, things we do repeatedly, sometimes without thinking too much about it. It’s the same with confidence really. To BE confident we must repeatedly produce confidence from within ourselves. Confidence too has a recipe, a system and a procedure. By repeating that recipe, system and procedure it eventually becomes habit. To adapt what Aristotle states “We are what we repeatedly do. Confidence, therefore, is not an act, but a habit.” Therefore, in order to BE confident, we must discover and define our own systems for creating confidence REPEATEDLY. On the flip side, if we aren’t creating confidence repeatedly, we are probably crippling our own confidence repeatedly with our thoughts, words and actions. Question is, which is it? Are you creating of crippling your confidence repeatedly? Truth, Joy, Love TJ ✌🏻
